SSP Traffic City Srinagar seeks cooperation of General Public | KNO

Srinagar, January 19 (KNO) : General Public is requested to abide by traffic rules and norms and co-operate with the Traffic Police on duty in better management of City Traffic. Unfortunately, yesterday at around 2:30 PM one person driving vehicle No. JK04D-1930 took a wrong turn near Regal Chowk. Traffic police officer / officials present on the spot stopped the car for taking wrong turn and during checking of the documents of the driver found driver driving vehicle without possessing a valid driving license. The violator raised hue and cry and created scene for almost ten minutes thereby restrained traffic police officers / officials in performing their legitimate duties. The violator tried to prove them wrong and provocate traffic officer / officials on duty by one or other means. However, the traffic officer / officials on spot maintained utmost composure and uprightness in discharging their duties. The traffic officer / officials on spot dealted with the violator without losing their cool and performed their duties with dedication. These kind of acts will only create hindrance in traffic movement. SSP Traffic Police City Srinagar Shri Tahir Saleem Kahn has requested the general public to cooperate with the traffic police on road for better traffic management and also carry Registration Certificate, valid driving license, valid Insurance document, valid pollution check certificate, fitness certificate, Route Permit (in case of passenger vehicle) while driving a vehicle.(KNO)
